Summer is here... and people have been asking me how to go to Anawangin Cove. Here is my panoramio for geotagged pics. And I will be posting the tracklog above.

Anawangin, the famous anawangin, at least for me. Some say a weird place with pine trees along the shore. It is a nice place, quiet, clean, white sand beach, where one can reflect / contemplate. I never thought i would go there with my son, my wife and my mother... yup my mother.. I always thought I would go there with the boys. But yup, with my mother. I decided to spend a night at Canoe resort in Pundaquit. Pundaquit is the drop off point to Anawangin cove or even Camara island. Canoe resort is a fair nice place with a pool. The rates are fair enough. Trust me, fair enough.
At the beach front are boats for hire, and don't worry, there are lots of them. We paid 800 pesos going to Anawangin that day, and yes 800 pesos is for all of us already. The boatman said, it is another 700 pesos for all of us if we decide to go to Camara island, which we skipped. Anawangin is enough for my son.
We brought with us our own life vests including a small one for my son. We always bring these things ie: vests, ropes, shoes, hydration bag, first aid kit, etc, whenever we go out of town.
Anawangin is a nice place. Easy to go to on a boat from Pundaquit. It is a relaxing type of activity. The drive is not long enough with SCTEX. Anawangin day is a good day filled with good things. We are happy :)
